Clarice Ruth Houston, 90, a resident of Kissimmee, Fla., and a former Rockton resident, died Friday, Jan. 1 at Humana Hospital in Kissimmee.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1897, in Rockton, the daughter of Willis and Anna Watts Houston.
She was an elementary school teacher for 53 years, most of which were in Akron, Ohio. She was a member of the First United Methodist Churh of Kissimmee and the National Retired Teachers Association.
She had no immediate survivors.
She was cremated, and graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday at Rockton Cemetery. They was no visitation.
Arrangements were made by Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer Funeral Home.
