Mrs. Myrtie Varner Canon
Mrs. Myrtie Canon, 88, died Saturday in Manhattan Health Care Center in Jackson. Services are 4 p.m. today at Jordan Funeral Kome in Kosciusko with burial in Friendship Cemetery near Kosciusko.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Emmett Canon; daughters, Mrs. Odene Evans of Jackson and Mrs. Agnes Whittemore of Grenada; brother, Robert Varner of Winona; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-grandson.
