Funeral services for Mr. Milton Bailey, age 82, resident of Kilmichael, were conducted Wednesday, July 13, 1994 at 2:00 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko with the Rev. Walt Phillips officiating. Burial was in the Friendship Cemetery in Attala County.

A native of the Friendship community and a longtime Attala County resident, Mr. Bailey was a retired farmer and school bus driver and a member of Friendship Methodist Church.

He died of heart failure Monday, July 11, at Choctaw County Hospital in Ackerman. He was the son of Absie and Elba Mae Canon Bailey.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Boy Black Bailey of Kilmichael; two daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Shirley of Kilmichael and Mrs. Elba Jean Sullivan of Clinton; two sisters, Mrs. Blanch Randle of Vaiden and Mrs. Louise Owens of Pelham, Alabama; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Larry Randle, Jerry O'Briant, Doug McElroy, David McElroy, Thomas Burchfield and Lamar Ellis.

Honorary pallbearers were Deck Thomas, Sonny Bailey, Car McElroy, O.D. McElroy, Paul McElroy, Alton Ellis, Quinton Ellis, Ezra Ellis, Grover O'Briant, Roy Burton, Derwood Strain am Delbrial Strain.

Memorials may be made to the Choctaw County Nursing Home Piano Fund or the Friendship Cemetery Fund.

Jordan Funeral Home of Kosciusko was in charge of arrangements.
