Joseph F. Boyd, age 75 of Paris, TN, died Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at his residence.
He retired after man years as a heavy equipment operator. Joseph loved to trade and deal with people. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and fishing.
Joseph was born August 4, 1945, in Paris to the late Bill Boyd and the late Mary Merrill Boyd.
He was married July 1, 1966, to Savana Watts Boyd, who preceded him in death on April 29, 2018.
He is survived by his daughter, Tanya (Tommy) Madden, Jr., of Paris; his son, Gerald (Cherry) Boyd of Paris; three grandchildren, Dillon (Rachael) Madden, Cole Madden, and Ty Madden; and one great grandchild, Marshall T. Madden.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, LaRue Cleaver and Jenea Sue Meals; and three brothers, Jimmy L. Boyd, Charles D. Boyd, and Billy Boyd.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Saturday, February 13, 2021, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 200 Bethesda Road, Paris, TN 38242, with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 am at Bethesda United Methodist Church, with H.B. Fields officiating.
