Rebecca Sue (Dakins) Greer, 81, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her family.
She was born March 4, 1939 in Muncie, the daughter of James and Kathleen (Linville) Dakins.
Becky graduated from Muncie Central High School and attended Indiana Business College.
Becky began her career as a Cosmetics Buyer for Ball Stores for twenty years. She recently Owned and Operated David L’s Hideout Lounge with her husband David for over twenty years. Her and her husband loved to travel with many friends on vacation trips and cruises.
Becky was very involved with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and enjoyed family gatherings. She also was an avid reader.
Rebecca is survived by four children, Debra Richards (Scott), D. Rene Brown (Rocky), David Lee Greer (Jill), and Bryan Raines; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a brother, James Dakins (Patty); a sister, Judy Claussen (Nick); and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Greer; and a sister, Lois J. Warner.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 10, 2021
Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
