Angelina Rael Quintana of Puerto De Luna, NM passed away on December 31, 2020.

Angelina was born on May 5, 1932 in Cuervo, NM to the home of Maximilliano & Miquelita (Aragon) Rael.

A loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Angelina was preceded in death by her parents, Maximilliano & Miquelita Rael; her lifelong partner Toribio Flores who died in 2008; Elias Quintana, who died in 1963; two brothers Cecilio Rael and Nicholas Aragon; and sisters Antonia Urban and Rose Donaldson.

Angelina enjoyed spending time at the Puerto De Luna Senior Center playing bingo and attending holiday dances with her friends. She loved her family, and her greatest times were spent celebrating holidays and birthdays together. She loved spending time with her furry companion Mia. Angelina was strong in her faith and was a member of Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church.

She was survived by seven children, Mary Angie Moncayo (Freddy) of Puerto De Luna, NM, Alfredo (Anita) Quintana of Aurora, CO, Rebecca (Walter) Marquez of Rio Rancho, NM, Jose (Yolanda) Flores of Puerto De Luna, NM, Alice (Larry) Zamora of Albuquerque, NM, Ramona & Christian Stoltz of Mountain Top, PA and Patrick (Janey) Flores of Peralta, NM; two brothers, Carlos (MaryLou) Perea and Cecilio (Liz) Rael; three sisters Esmeralda Bradford, Pablita Durante and Emiliana Rael; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside Interment Services were held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Cuervo Catholic Cemetery in Cuervo, New Mexico.

Pallbearers were Carla Moncayo Jordan, Rosalie Duke, Aaron Quintana, Nathan Flores, Natalie Lopez and Ethan Stoltz. Honorary pallbearers were her remaining grandchildren, Freddy Moncayo, Amber Quintana, Lynda Strenger, Denika Maestas, Lorissa Spears, Madison Stoltz and her great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the staff of Guadalupe County Hospital for the exemplary care provided to Angelina. The family will be eternally thankful for the kindness Angelina received over the last two years. The family would also like to thank the community of friends for the outpouring of love, support and many prayers for Angelina.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Social Distancing guidelines, services were private and limited to the immediate family.

Chavez Funeral Home, 923 S. Third St., Santa Rosa, NM, served the family.
