Vicki Blonde, 70, of Albion, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. She was born on November 26, 1950 in Albion to Homer C. and Mable (Warner) Root Sr.
Vicki attended Concord Community Schools and was a seamstress at Harvard Clothing for many years. She loved taking care of her horse’s and several other animals.
Vicki is survived by one daughter, Lisa (Mike) Baldridge of Ohio; one son, Larry (Tammy Bormann) Jones Jr. of Litchfield; two brothers, Homer (Pat) Root Jr. of Battle Creek, Harry Root of Concord; Former husband, Larry Jones Sr.; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Root.
Funeral services for Vicki Blonde will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 2 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield with Pastor Abe Prater officiating. Interment will take place in Albion Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
