In 1880 Wayne County census, she and John had only 1 child, Hattie, age 1. By 1900 they had 8 additional children: Thomas R., 18; Daisy V., 16; Frankie, 14; John R., 12; Mary E., 10; Lea J., 7; Olof G., 2; and "Baby" [Elba C.], 3/12.
Emmer was a widow in the 1900 census. In the 1920 census, she and George are living in Wayne county. Her second husband, George, died in Missouri in 1927 and his death record indicates he was buried in Xenia, Illinois.
Her son, John R. Green, appears to have died about 1916, his will probated in Craighead, Arkansas. Son Elbie was living in Almyr, Arkansas when his sister Daisy died in 1920. Probably why she was living/died here.
