Elizabeth Ann Healey, 67, of Springfield, died at 11:48 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2006 at St. John's Hospital.

Elizabeth was born on February 4, 1939 in Ft. Madison, IA, the daughter of Leo and Catherine Zimmerman Beckert. She married Thomas Martin Healey on May 30, 1959 in Davenport, IA; he preceded her in death on October 21, 2000.

She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and a former member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She was a volunteer at St. Joseph's Home and was a supporter of Right to Life. She was a member of the Springfield community for thirty-eight years and also resided in Davenport and Ft. Madison, IA. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Elizabeth was a strong and positive lady who will be remembered for her dedication and love of her family and her faith.

She was also preceded in death by one son: Tom Healey and one sister: Mary Gasser.

She is survived by one son: Michael (wife, Rachel) Healey of Springfield; four daughters: Linda (husband, Randy) Nichols, Kathleen (husband, Eric) Zanger, Teresa (husband, Drew) Keller and Mary (husband, Deon) Perryman all of Springfield; one daughter-in-law: Mary Jo Healey of Iowa; one sister: Evelyn Ward of Chicago, IL; fifteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Concelebrated Funeral Mass at Christ The King Catholic Church, Msgr. David S. Lantz principal celebrant and Rev. David Hoefler concelebrant. Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
