An illness of 14 months resulted in the death of Mrs. Samuel A. McKim, 62, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Her condition became serious nine months ago.
Mrs. McKim was born July 14, 1872, the daughter of James and Rachel Duke, two miles south of Cambridge. Her entire life was spent in Cambridge and vicinity. One Jan. 21, 1891, she was united in marriage to Samuel A. McKim and to this union eight children, Fred and Harry McKim, deceased, Mrs. Flora Blanchett and Mrs. Lester Hipsher, of Crestline, Mrs. Alice Addison, Steubenville road, Mrs. Bertha Justice, Grant avenue, Mrs. Jennie King, of the home, and Paul McKim, South Seventh street, were born.
In addition to her husband and children, Mrs. McKim is survived by one brother, Emmett Duke, Weedon avenue, two sisters, Mrs. David Dunlap and Mrs. Maggie Hill, of the Fairground addition, and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the First Church of the Nazarene, Madison avenue, by the pastor, Rev. John A. Boyd. Interment will be made in Northwood cemetery.
