Saturday afternoon, Mrs. Frank Parker received word of the death of her father, Albert Lacock at Lewiston, at 10'oclock Saturday morning. Mr. Lacock was an old-time resident of Springhill, having come here from Iowa in 1880, and home-steading the ranch which he later sold to G.A. W. Carlson. He was proprietor of the Northern Pacific Hotel in Bozeman for some time and later in the hotel business in Anaconda. For several years he has been living with his children, having come from San Dimas, Calif., the first of March to his son's in Lewistown. Mr. Lacock was born in Indiana August 24, 1834. January 4, 1865 he married Phoebe Corbly at Marion, Iowa, who died in 1885. Five children, William Lacock and J.E. Lacock, of Lewistown; Mrs. F. W. Parker, of Spring Hill; F. P. Lacock, of Anaconda, and Mrs. Maude Hosford, of San Dimas, Calif., are living. One daughter, Blanche died in 1898.
