Funeral services for Miss Geraldine Tolbert, who died Monday, are at 2 p.m., Wednesday in Mills-Humphrey Chapel. Miss Tolbert, 45, lived at 39 West Apache. She was Sept. 5, 1927 at Ashland and lived there all of her life. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Tolbert of the home; seven sisters, Mrs. Effie Roberts, Mrs. Bea Buckner, Mrs. Ray Allen and Mrs. Mina Chastain, all of McAlester, Mrs. Harry Batts of Kiowa, Mrs. J. C. Keith, Ozark, Ark.; five brothers, Sid and Rufus of McAlester, Howard of Ashland, Venoid of Laton Calif., and Vernon Tolbert, Campbell, Calif.; several nieces and nephews. Rev. Woodrow Cain will officiate the services. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mills-Humphrey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Terry Perry, Charley Buckner, Ray Allen, J. C. Keith, Harry Batts, and Billy Chapman. Honorary pallbearers include L. F. Ball, Farris Kendrick, V. W. Schoggins, Harley Mahanes and Buster Jones. The body will lie in state at the chapel until time for services.
