James J. Mooney, 82, of 101 Eley St., Kingston, died Wednesday morning in Veterans Administration Hospital.
Born Nov. 9, 1893 in Plymouth, he was a former routeman for United Bakery and was an Army veteran of World War I. He was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston.
Surviving are children, William P., John and Frank, Kingston; James R., Kearny, N.J.; Mrs. Carl G. Schwartz, Pringle; Mrs. Robert S. Asby, Plymouth; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas, Wilkes-Barre; George, Norristown.
Private funeral will be Thursday from Blight Funeral Home, 392 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Ignatius Church. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. There will be no calling hours.
