Mrs. J. J. Mooney Dies At Nesbitt
Mrs. James J. Mooney of 39 Main Street, Kingston, died at Nesbitt Memorial Hospital this afternoon at 1 after an illness of one month.
Born in Inkerman, Mrs. Mooney was the former Miss Alice McHugh. She was educated in Inkerman schools and was graduated from St. John's High School, Pittston. She lived in Kingston 50 years and was a member of St. Ignatius Church, the Altar and Rosary Society andn Catholic Daughters.
Mrs. Mooney was a charter member of the Democratic Women's Club, Kingston, and was active in politics for many years. the last several years, she was a committeewoman of the Second Ward, Second District, Kingston.
Surviving are her husband; children, James, Kearney, N. J.; Mary, Berlin, N. J.; Frank and Ann, both at home; nine grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the McLaughlin Funeral Home, 416 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston.
