Services for John Franklin Floyd, former mayor of Kilmichael, were at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Kilmichael Baptist Church, with burial in Kilmichael Cemetery. Lee Funeral Home of Winona was in charge.
Mr. Floyd, 82, died Tuesday at Kilmichael Hospital.
He was a former school teacher, merchant and a Mason.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Hester Woodruff Floyd; a daughter, Mrs. Johnny Burleson of Kilmichael; a son, James F. Floyd of Kilmichael; two sisters, Mrs. Ora Gober of luka and Mrs. Blanche Counce of Burnsville, and a brother, Fred Floyd of High Springs, Fla.
