Services for Mrs. Myrtle Cornish of Dunlap, 89, who died July 29, were held in the Bouton Memorial Home in Princeville. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery. Rev. Ernest Fernandes officiated.
Pallbearers were L.D. Elwell, Everette Poplett, Harold Simpson, Delbert Kuhn, Earl Vohland and Clarence Dunlap.
She was born in Dunlap December 2, 1880, the daughter of Nathaniel and Sarah Jane Cramer Richmond. She married Charles Cornish in 1913 in Dunlap. He died in 1936.
She is survived by two sons Louis of Peoria and Wayne Cornish of Dunlap, a daughter Mrs. George (Nelda) Smyser of Dunlap, two sisters, Mrs. Alice Campbell and Miss Cora Richmond of Dunlap, a brother, Elmer Richmond of Dunlap, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, a brother and two sisters.
She was a member of the Prospect Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
