Esther G. Gileau (Lagasse) 78 Formerly of Woodland Drive, Coventry R.I., wife of John S. Gileau died yesterday at Hopkin's Health Center, North Providence. A resident of Pawtuxet Valley for more than 35 year's, was born in Warwick, R.I. on 24 October 1912, a daughter of the late Ambrose and Flora (Roussin) Lagasse. Mrs. Gileau was a member of the Moosup Valley Grange, Foster, The Promona Grange and the R.I. State Grange.
She is survived by 2 brother's, Roy Lagasse of Parksley, Va. and Earl Lagasse of Providence, R.I..
The funeral will be held at 8:15 a.m. on Monday from the Robert A. Iannotti and Son Funeral home, Coventry, R.I..With a Christain Burial at SS John and Paul Church, South Main Street, Coventry, R.I.
