Joan was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After rearing their children, Joan and Denny served a mission in Texas. Joan loved the people she met there,. She later served at the Bishop's Storehouse and she loved being an ordinance worker in the Bountiful and Ogden Temples.
Joan made friends wherever she went, and had a gift for talking to everyone she met. She loved the primary children, both in her ward and in the needs primary. The children loved her dearly.
At the time of her passing, Joan was survived by her husband, Dennis, two sons, daughter and son-in-law, and a special "adopted" daughter, as well as many other relatives, grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was also survived by three sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers-in-law, Darrel Strong and Frank R. Sheridan.
Joan will be remembered, loved, and missed by many.
