RACHEL ANN DODSON, age 61, of Tullahoma, Tenn., departed this on Friday, January 15, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton Hospital following an extended illness. Ms. Dodson was born in Tullahoma, on October 10, 1959, to the late Russel David Dodson and Ruby Bell Neal Dodson. She was of the Baptist Faith. Ms. Dodson was employed for many years at the former Worth Bat Company in Tullahoma before becoming disabled. She enjoyed working puzzle books and visiting with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Dodson was preceded in death by her brother, George Dodson and grandson, Ryder Hargrove. She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Hargrove and husband, Richard of Lynchburg, Grandchildren; Russel Myers, Kevin Myers, Ernesto and Shayla Hargrove all of Lynchburg, brothers; Kenneth Dodson and wife, Sherry of Tullahoma, Dale Dodson and wife, Patsy of Lynchburg, sister, Mattie Eason of Huntland and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Ms. Dodson will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 18, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Dan Syler, officiating. Visitation is scheduled for 11:00-1:00 P.M. Monday prior to Services.
Interment will follow services at the Smith's Chapel Cemetery in Lynchburg with family members serving as pallbearers.
Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic everyone is required to wear a mask.
