NEWMAN W. ELWELL
Word has been received here of the death Wednesday of Newman W. Elwell, 70, of Houston, Texas. Born in Bennington he would have been 71 on Dec 5.
His parents were the late Dennis and Berha (North) Elwell. He resided in Texas for many years. He was a World War II Veteran.
Surivors include his wife; three sons, eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Dunbar of Bennington and Mrs. Bessie Stone of Framingham, Mass.; two brothers, Herbert Elwell of Houston and Calvin Elwell of Manchester Center; two aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be in Houston Friday morning.
