Graveside services for Malcolm "Mac" J. Casselman Sr., age 85 formerly of St. Lawrence Ave Ogdensburg and the Armstrong Rd will be held on May 14, 2011 at 11:00am at the White Church Cemetery in Lisbon with Rev. Walter Smith officiating. Mr. Casselman died Tuesday morning (April 26, 2011) at the UH Adult Home. Arrangements are with the Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Surviving are his children Malcolm Casselman Jr. of Ogdensburg, Bruce Casselman of Massena, Mary Jane & Arthur Dashnaw of Hudson Falls, Patricia Lajoie of Heuvelton, Connie & Dennis McGaw of Madrid, Nancy & Leo Fabian of Fulton
Colleen Bulat of Brier Hill; a sister Patricia Worden of Adams Center; 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & cousins. Two brothers Charles & George Casselman and his longtime companion of 28 years Shirley Spriggs, predeceased him.

Mac was born on November 9, 1925 in Ogdensburg, NY, a son of the late Charles A. & Jennie Belle (Burnside) Casselman. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and enlisted in the US Navy from 1943-45 as a 2nd penne officer. A previous marriage to Marion (Atherton) ended in divorce.
