Faye Chandler Spigener
July 12, 1931 - January 12, 2021

Faye Chandler Spigener, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 11:30 am at Forest Park Cemetery West. Officiating will be Rev. Joe Whitney of First Baptist Bossier.

Mrs. Spigener was a native of Arcadia, LA, and a resident of Shreveport for 70 years. She was born and raised in Arcadia, LA. Faye was a member of First Baptist Bossier and loved her Sunday Class.

Mrs. Spigener was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Spigener; sisters, Mary Ann “Sis” Hallmark, Lela Hallmark, Polly Hill; and brothers, JC Chandler, Dewitt Chandler, Bill Chandler, Arthur Chandler, and Quinton Chandler. She is survived by her daughter, Lynette Thompson; son, Ron Spigener and wife LouAnn; 7 grandchildren, Heather Conrad and husband, Mark, Matt Thompson, Whitney Dugan and husband, Mike, Todd Spigener, Stewart Thompson and wife, Valerie, Drew Spigener and wife, Mandy, and Chase Grogin; several great-grand children; and one brother Reg Chandler.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Willis-Knighton North for their love and compassion during her last days. They would also like to thank the physicians that cared for her over the last several years.
