Marie L. Austin, 79, of 198 South Ave., Bradford, passed away Tuesday (Jan. 12, 2021) at Sena-Kean Manor in Smethport.
Born Aug. 11, 1941, in Bradford, she was a daughter of Augustas L. and Charlotte M. Jones Stewart.
She was a 1959 graduate of Bradford High School.
On June 11, 1960 in Bradford, she married Keith Austin, who died Nov. 17, 1993.
Marie and her husband had lived in Maryland prior to returning to Bradford.
Surviving are two grandchildren, Chelsea Austin, and Craig Austin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son Kevin Austin, three sisters, Joan Brooks, Darlene Peterson, and Donna Ball, four brothers, Ike Stewart, Richard Stewart, Junior Stewart, and Robert Stewart.
Friends will be received on Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc,. 33 South Avenue, where at 11 a.m. funeral services will be held with Pastor Ken Devine of the First Baptist Church of Frewsburg, N.Y., officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.
