She was born in Mitchell County on October 26, 1939 to the late Burns and Verdie Patrick Canipe.
Rosie loved the Lord, and she was a faithful member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church for over 50 years where she taught Sunday School. She retired from Drexel Heritage. Rosie loved tending to her flowers and feeding the birds and squirrels. She loved her family, and she had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Rosie is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Biddix.
Those left to cherish her precious memories are four children, Janet Rodwell (Stuart), Vicki Davis, Pam Stines (Rev. Gerald), and Becky Higgins (Jason); twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and three siblings, Connie Bunch, Ernest Canipe (Jeri), and B.M. Canipe.
