MRS. RIFENDIFER, 82, SHICKSHINNY, DIES
Mrs. Sadie Rifendifer, 82, of Shickshinny, RD 2, died this morning at 8:15 in Mercy Hospital where she had been a surgical patient since May 7. She previously had been a guest at the Davies Convalescent Home, Mountaintop.
Born in Bloomsburg, October 1, 1879, Mrs. Rifendifer was a daughter of the late Weston and Mary Kimley Taylor. She resided in Shickshinny 40 years and attended Harveyville schools. She also attended Huntington Mills Methodist Church. Her husband, Harvey, expired some time ago.
Surviving are a brother, Charles Taylor, of Wilkes-Barre; a sister, Mrs. Rose Pifer, Berwick; several nieces and nephews
Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 at the Zofein Funeral Home, 38 North Main street, Shickshinny.
Rev. Fred Hickok of the Harveyville Methodist Church will officiate.
Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Harveyville. Friends may call Saturday night after 7.
