Obituary - Thomas J. Sigman - Thomas J. Sigman, 81, 500 N. 11th St., died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday (March 28, 1971) in Guernsey Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient 10 days.
A member of the First United Methodist Church, he was born Oct. 23, 1889, in Guernsey County, a son of the late Josiah and Mary Wilson Sigman.
He had been employed with the old sheet mill here and was a retired employe of Cambridge State Hospital.
He was also a member of the Men's Brotherhood Class of the church and Cambridge Lodge 66, FA & AM.
Mr. Sigman leaves his wife, Geneva Patterson Sigman; one son, C. Robert Sigman, Canal Fulton; two brothers, Ralph Sigman, Altoona, Pa., and Charles Sigmam, Dover; three granddaughters, Miss Connie Sigman, Canal Fulton, Mrs. Linda Christopher and Mrs. Judy Riddle, both of Akron; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Bundy-Law Funeral Home today (Monday) from 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be there at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Dr. Stanley J. Shoemaker officiating and burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
