Earl had a strong work ethic and was employed with various companies including with Ford as a mechanic, served as a chauffeur for the Amish, was on Alpha & Omega Mounted Security Patrol and was a security guard at Innsbrook Resort in Warrenton. Earl was a member of Brays Advent Christian Church.
In addition to his loving wife, Kathleen, he is also survived by three children, Karen Humphrey, Barb Humphrey, and Greg Humphrey (Kim); one stepson, Brad Thomas (Teresa); nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; sister, Sharon Dake of Iberia; sister-in-law, Pauline Humphrey of Iberia; mother-in-law, Eileen Gress of Iberia; his cherished fur-baby, Bella Ree and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Danny "Bull" Humphrey and Billy Humphrey and one sister, Deloris Humphrey; granddaughter, Jennifer Marie Counts.
Earl's final wishes were to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at Brays Advent Christian Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021, with Brian Duncan officiating. Final inurnment will be held in Brays Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Brays Cemetery or Brays Church.
