Curtis Fenton Humphrey, 80, of Iberia died Friday, May 7, 2004, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was born Apri 2, 1924, in Miller County to Floyd and Zaida Reed Humphrey. He was married in Vienna to Audrey Kuns, who died January 1993.

Mr. Humphrey was a member of Brays Advent Christian Church near Iberia.

Surviving him are two sons and their wives, Billy and Pauline Humphrey of Iberia and Earl Wayne and Marie Humphrey of Warrenton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon and Billy Helton and Deloris Humphrey, all of Iberia; a stepdaughter and her husband, Jeanette and Roger Osburn of Doolittle; his stepfather, Homer Meek of Marysville; a step-sister, Cathrine Shepard Humphrey of Dixon; two step-brothers, Carl Sehpard of Dixon and Lemoin Shepard of Old Monroe; 12 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

One son, Danny "Bull" Humphrey, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Brian Duncan officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery near Iberia. Memorial contributions may be made to Union Cemetery.
