Dr. Dwight Inouye
Gunnison, Utah

Dr. Dwight Hideo Inouye, 71, passed away on December 29, 2020 in Provo, Utah, from COVID-19 related complications. He was born on February 6, 1949 to Charles Ichiro Inouye and Bessie Shizuko Murakami in Richfield, UT.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Lew; eight children; and 27 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Warren, Elizabeth Anne, and Charles. Dwight was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Charlotte and Dillon.

Dwight served the Sanpete Valley community as a family medicine physician and scout leader for forty years.

Private funeral services for family will be held on Friday, January 1, 2021. Burial will be in the Memorial Mountain View Cemetery in Cottonwood Heights.
