Darlene Nicholson Hammons was born on April 2, 1952, in Oneida, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Darl and Eva Gilbert Nicholson. She was united in marriage to Jerry Hammons, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Leann Clark and husband Chris, two siblings, Linda Gray and husband, Danny, and Dale Nicholson and one granddaughter, of Eva Caroline Clark, all of London, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing. In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Nicholson.
Darlene was a nurse and a member of Community Christian Church.
Darlene Nicholson Hammons departed this life at St. Joseph – London on Monday, December 28, 2020, being 68 years, 8 months and 26 days of age.
Services for Darlene Nicholson Hammons will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Bart Jones and Matt Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the A. R. Dyche Memorial Park.
The family of Darlene Nicholson Hammons will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home from 12 Noon Sunday until the funeral hour of 2 PM.
