Craig was born January 10, 1955 to Dewey and Lyla Black. He married Connie Renee Branch on July 15, 1977 in the Salt Lake Temple. Craig passed into the waiting arms of his sons Jeremy and Nathan December 22, 2020 due to complications of a back surgery.
Craig was larger than life and very much like his Grandpa Savage having never met a person he didn't like, and consequently, never a person who didn't like him. When you were with Craig you were his best friend.
He is survived by his eternal companion Connie and his daughter Julie (Gabriel) and three grandchildren: Jeran, Morgan, and Levi "Billy", brother Bruce (Allison), and sisters Debbie Baddley (George), Michelle Marshall (Randy), Kimberlee Carlson (Doug), Tara Heiner (Brett). Preceded in death by Jeremy, Nathan, and his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah.
