He is survived by three daughters: Emma Jean Thomas of West Portsmouth, Oh.; Mary Whitesel of Scotia, NY; Nancy M. Shea of Columbus, Oh.; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded by two sisters: Madge McKinley and Maud Double; and two brothers: Fred and John Nelson Bice.
He was a member of Center Street United Methodist Church in Lucasville and was a retired sheet metal worker of Empire Detroit Steel in New Boston, Oh.
Services Sunday, June 14 at the church with John Robbins and John Robinson officiating and burial in Lucasville, Cemetery. McKinley Funeral Home.
