On Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020, Harold Alexander "Alex" Jacobsen, loving husband, father, and grandfather of five passed away. He was 69 years old.

He was laid to rest at Elizabeth Cemetery, Elizabeth, Colo.

Alex was born in Sioux City on April 5, 1951. In high school, he worked the family business at Sioux Tools. After graduating high school, he attended college at Otero Junior College and UNC in Greeley, Colo. He later graduated from Colorado Aerotech and became an aviation mechanic for a time. For the last 25 years, he worked at Scott's Liquid Gold. Alex met the love of his life, Joan, at Otero College and spent 48 years together.

He leaves behind Joan; two daughters, Chasity and Heather; and four grandchildren, who were the apple of his eye; his brother Drew; and sister Holly.
