y. Ruth graduated from Sylacauga High School and earned her nursing degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Columbus. She was an Operating Room Nurse at Sylacauga Hospital, a role that came naturally to her. She was a wonderful caregiver to patients, family, and friends. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed dearly by her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for friends and family often using vegetables from her own garden. Ruth set an example for her family as she lived out her faith in the Lord throughout her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove where she enjoyed being a part of the Faith Sunday School Class. Ruth had many friends, and she cherished those relationships.
