Funeral services for Archie Oran Ruhl, 70, retired farmer and a resident of Melrose, rural route 1, the past five years are pending and will be held in Webster City, Iowa. The Foster Funeral Home of Webster is in charge of arrangements there. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The Mlller-Wehfle Funeral Home of Centerville is in charge of local arrangements. Born June 17,1912, in Belva, Oklahoma, he was the son of Oran and Estey Adams Ruhl. On May 27, 1933. he married E. Madonna Olson in Webster City, Iowa. They had made their home In the Rathbun Lake area at Lazy Daz the past five years. Mr. Ruhl had been ill several months and his death occurred in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Centerville at 11 p.m. on Sunday, January 30. He had been a patient there eleven days. Mr. Ruhl was preceded In death by his parents; a son, Neil Ruhl; a brother, Vernon Ruhl and a sister, Marie Schweppe. Survivors are his wife; two daughters; Diana Brennan, Streator, Illinois; and Lois White, Sacramento, California; three sons, Gary Ruhl, LaCrescenta, California; Darrell Ruhl, New York City; and Wayne Ruhl, Boulder, Colorado; several grandchildren; two brothers, Pearl Ruhl, Webster City, Iowa; and Richard Ruhl, Alden, Iowa; and three sisters, Opal Watson, Albany, New York; Evalyn McKeel, Ozark, Alabama and Dorris Borcherding, Donnelson, Iowa.
