Jewel Dean Baker Wood Barker, born October 23, 1927 and died December 18, 2020. She was the daughter of Reed R. Baker and Dovie Hamilton Baker, the last grandchild of Rebecca Medlock Baker and Solomon M. Baker. She was the sixth child and the last of fourteen siblings.

She is survived by daughter, Linda M. Wood Vickers, granddaughter, Amanda Knott VanEck and husband Erik, great grandsons, Dustyn A. Knott, Elliotte R. VanEck, Alexander B. VanEck, Roman C. VanEck and Noah W. VanEck, granddaughters, Lakyn B. VanEck, Hannah J. VanEck and Charlotte R. VanEck, grandson, Justin A. Knott and grandson, Lincoln A. Knott, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews, as well as friends and extended family.

She was the matriarch of the family and the glue that held us all together. She has a great outlook on life and there was not a challenge that she avoided.
