Albert Aley, clerk at the Simpson Hotel, died Saturday afternoon at his home, Mo. 3 Shenango street, after quite an extended illness. He had been in bed for the past two weeks suffering from a complication of diseases. he was 43 years of age and had resided for many years at Wampum, before coming to this city.
Many of his friends did not realize the seriousness of his condition and they were greatly shocked to learn of his death. He is survived by his wife and his mother and two brothers and two sisters. Mr. Aley was a member of Odd Fellows and the Knights of Pythias lodges, of Wampum and of the Bar Clerks Union of this city. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the family home on Shenango street, and the interment was at Oak Park.
