John Ivan Youngblood, age 89 of Silver Point passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at NHC of Smithville. He was born September 8, 1931 in DeKalb County, TN to the late James L. and Allie Avo Huddleston Youngblood.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving from 1952 to 1954 as a Corporal.

John Ivan was a retired manufacturing supervisor with Cummins Engine Filter Division.

He was a member of Herren's Chapel Church of Christ.

Survivors include daughter Tina Youngblood and husband Chuck Campbell of Mission Hills, Kansas, sons and a daughter-in-law Randall Youngblood, Jeff and Linda Youngblood all of Silver Point, sister Marylene Starnes of Silver Point, grandchildren: Melissa Youngblood Ward and husband Josh, and Zach Youngblood.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Belle Herren Youngblood on November 11, 2015, a son Micah E. Youngblood, sister Sherrill McMahan, brother, J.L. Youngblood.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Mike McCoy and Bro. John Whitson officiated with the eulogy delivered by Tina Youngblood. Interment followed in Cookeville City Cemetery.
