Peggy was a dedicated Child Care Provider and Care Giver. She enjoyed Country Music, playing Bingo, making bracelets, and working puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon W. Davis and son-in-law, Vernon Stickley.
She is survived by her children; Brenda (Tom) Douglass of Maryland; Cindy (Tank) Warlitner of Waynesboro; Terry (James) Ott of Waynesboro; and David (Joanne) Davis of Stuarts Draft. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Damon (Jessica) Davies; Travis Douglass and Fiancé Heather; Ben (Marlene) Douglass, Jennifer Stickley, Daniel Stickley, Derrick (Lisa) Stickley, Jamie (Derek) Hyden, Dustin (Brittney) Ott, and Chris (Mia) Ott. Great Grandchildren; Samantha, Haley and Julia Davies; Adeline, Carson and Dawson Douglass; PJ, Brady, Hunter and Madison Douglass, Kimberlin Houghtaling, Jessica Buracker, Chesney Stickley, Chase and Destiny Stickley, Camden and waiting arrival of Baby Girl Ott. Great-Great Grandchildren, Kayleigh, Luis Jr., and Kiana DeJesus; Kynsleigh and Parker Clark, Jayden, T.J. and Chasdyn Buracker, and Sadie.
She is survived by brother, Richard (Marion) Coiner of Florida and sisters, Shirley Gladwell of Fishersville, Nancy Beverage of Waynesboro, Gloria Bost of South Carolina, Beverly (Linden) Walters of Staunton and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A private service will be held with burial at Augusta Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Dr. Chris Mason.
Pallbearers will be Damon Davies, Travis Douglass, Daniel Stickley, Derrick Stickley, Dustin Ott, and Chris Ott.
