IRVIN WOOD DIES OF HEART ATTACK
Irvin M Wood, 65, Rt. 1, Mtn. View, died from a heart attack at 12 yesterday noon at St. Francis Mtn. View Memorial Hospital where he was a patient for an hour.
Mr. Wood had been ill for several months.
He was employed by the Missouri State Highway Department until his retirement a few months ago. Survivors include his aged father, J. N. Wood, Caulfield; wife, Fern; two sons, J. B. Wood, McMinnville, Ore.; Dorval Wood, Independence; two daughters, Mrs. Jim Riescamp, McMinnville, Ore.; and Mrs. Angeline Taber, Mtn View; five sisters, Mrs. Leroy Morgan, S. S. Route; Mrs. Laura Hulsey, New Albany Miss.; Mrs. Lizzie Carter, Caulfield; Mrs. Hattie Williams, Hazelwood; and Mrs. Mabie Huff, St Louis; and two brothers, Paul Wood, West Plains; and John Wood, Eden Wyo..
A short funeral service will be held at 1 Sunday afternoon at the Mtn View Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Smith of Teresita officiating.
