Uvada Hermansen Sand, born June 25, 1910, to Christian Hermansen and Nettie Phelina Warnock, died Jan. 16, 1999, in Eureka, Calif. She married William R. Sand in Preston, Nev. They lived in Mad River, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Royce and Burl; sister, Ione Gubler. She is survived by sisters, Christie L. Haynes, Las Vegas, Nev.; Betty J. Hanson, Orem; numerous nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be in Fortuna, Calif. Burial at Ocean View Cemetery in Eureka, Calif.
