Born January 5, 1931 at Marie, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Grace Pack Lilly.
Ms. Gwinn was a retail clerk for several businesses in Summers County and was a member of New Hope Methodist Church at Marie. She was also a member of the Marie Ruritan Club and Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell G. Gwinn, Sr.; one son, James Gwinn; an infant daughter and two brothers, Dewey and Herbert Lilly.
Survivors include two sons, Russell G. Gwinn, Jr. of Marie and Roy Gwinn and wife Kathleen of Swanton, OH; one brother, Denver Lilly of Blacksburg, VA; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild also survive.
Private funeral services will be held at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Mike Tabor officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery at Marie.
