Honoring Malcolm's request, no funeral service will be held. A private burial will be take place at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.
Survivors include two brothers, Charles Jenkins of Youngsville and Byron Jenkins of Milton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Jenkins; his parents, Hillary and Melina Guidry Jenkins; his brother, Luther J. Jenkins; and his sisters, Melva Cunningham and Judy Hosey.
Malcolm was retired having worked for Delta Airlines at the New Orleans Airport for 12 years. In his younger years, he flew airplanes for PHI and enjoyed sky diving and riding motorcycles. He served our country honorably in the United States Army as a Green Beret and a Paratrooper.
