Herbert McKinley died at his residence in Harlingen, Texas, at age 92, on May 21, 1993.
Herbert retired from Amoco Oil Company in 1965. He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge in Iowa Park, Texas and also a lifetime member of the Shrine Club in Harlingen. He had 31 years of perfect attendance in the Rotary Club.
He was survived by his wife, Dean, a daughter, 5 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. The family suggested memorial gifts to the 8th and Harrison Church of Christ in Harlingen where he was a member for may years. . Minister of said church conducted a memorial service for him on May, 24, 1993, at the Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home and graveside at Restlawn Memorial Park.
