Anne Strother Calvert married (1) in 1811, Issachar Smith (1784-1819). Their four children were John Ralls (1812-94) who married in 1837, Lucy Ann Allen (1819-1907); Mary Catherine (1813-79) who married in 1836, John Rudasill (1802-72); Oliver Hazard Perry (1815-87); and Elizabeth Smith (1818-) who married in 1844, Enoch Brown (c1817-). Anne Calvert married (2) in 1823, Henry Spiller (1791-1842).

Oliver Hazard Perry Smith (1816-87) lived in Rockbridge County, Va. and married in 1843, a cousin, Margaret Elizabeth Massie (1824-93), daughter of Lewis David and Elizabeth Adams Massie. Their seven children were Mary Elizabeth Frances (1845-1912) who married in 1869, David Steele (1819-89); John Perry (1847-1920) who married in 1881, Frances Bell (1849-1925); Ann Melvina (1849-1921) who married in 1875, John Hangar Rush (1821-99), a descendant of Dr. Benjamin Rush (1745-1813), signer of the Declaration of Independence; Edward Lewis (1851-1914) who married in 1878, Clara Weir (1847-1926); Virginia Emma (1855-1909) who married in 1886, Samuel McClure; Robert Issachar (1857-63); and William Bernard Smith (1858-59).
