Doris Jean Ridgeway Tidwell, 85, of Oneonta, AL., passed away on December 2, 2020 at Diversicare of Oneonta. She was employed with Alasco for 17 years until it closed; the Senior Citizen's Center as a cook for 5 years; at Altoona Nursing Home and she and her husband had a yard service after they retired. Preceding her in death were her husband Alvin Tidwell; parents Claude and Shirley Graves Ridgeway; grandson Taylor Wiggins; sisters Alene Brothers, Jessie Cassie, Juanita Dye and Luvene Allen; brother Mozell Ridgeway. She leaves behind her children Richard Tidwell, Terry (Pam) Tidwell and Janice (Rick) Luman; sisters Betty Cardin and Margaret Ridgeway; brother Bill Ridgeway; grandchildren Brandy Tidwell, Randy (Kristy) Wiggins and Wade (Emily) Bachalur; and thirteen great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Mt. Carmel Cemetery at 2:30 PM with Pastor Rick Luman officiating. Asked to serve as pallbearers will be Randy Wiggins, Austin Wiggins, Jerry Tidwell, Tommy Tidwell, Wade Bachlur, Zach Tidwell and Mickey Witt.
