Roscoe Ammons, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Roscoe was born August 18, 1929 in Charlottesville, VA to the late Ralph and Sarah Ingle Ammons. He grew up in Mars Hill, NC. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters, including his beloved twin brother Otto. He was a farmer and furniture maker.

He is survived by his spouse of 65 years, Bobbie Joe Ammons; four children, Kathryn Robinson (Richard), Karen Ammons (Tony), Timothy Roscoe Ammons and Kristie Jo Ammons (David); grandkids, Brandi Elizabeth Lippard (Dave), Amanda Dawn McCoy (Kris), Joshua Roscoe Cole (Janice), Sherry Alicia Ward and Jonathon Kaleb Vazquez; great grandkids, Alec Tre McCoy, Christian Nathaniel Cole, Chloe Ann Cole, Josilyn Karaleigh Cole, Anthony Evan Johnson and Elijah Lippard and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Rotha Wilson will conduct the service.
