Blue was a stray cat that appeared on my mother's doorstep in Somers, MT. She, of course, being the animal lover that she was, kept him, after notifying animal control that he was a lost cat. No one ever inquired about him. She took him to the vet because she noticed there was something wrong with his eyes and was told that he was partially blind and had an eye infection. He was such a mellow cat and very loving. My mom never understood how someone could not have looked for him. Before my mom died, I promised her that I would care for her "babies." I'm sad to see him go.
