Mary E. "Mollie" Tune was the daughter of James Elihu Tune & his first wife Mary "Mollie" Dickey, both natives of Tennessee. She married Thomas Ace Holden on 25 April 1903 in Ellis County. They had one known child, Myrtle Lee Holden who married Foster Lee McCoy 11 December 1922 in Dallas County, Texas.

After Mollie's death her husband married Mary Etta McCoy 17 September 1911 in Kaufman County.
