Cleve was the son of James "Jim William Moore and Margaret Elizabeth (McDaniel) Moore.

Cleve and Vergie V. Jones were married on November 24, 1907 in Comanche County, Texas. They had one son.

There is not a picture available of Cleve for his memorial.
I took the picture of the double headstone in 1996.

OBITUARY:

W. C. MOORE DIES AT SIDNEY

William Cleveland Moore, 77, passed away suddenly at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, August 11th, at his home, Rt. 1, Sidney.

Funeral services for Mr. Moore were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12th at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. C.L. Casey of Cisco officiating.

Interment was in Stag Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Carl Walker, Jack Hendrix, Horace Jones, L. D. Clark, Jack Clark and R.Q. George.

Mr. Moore, son of the late James William and Elizabeth Moore, was born December 4, 1884 in Robertson County, Texas. He came to Comanche County with his parents when he was an infant and had lived in this county since. He had been a resident of the Sidney community for 40 years.

Mr. Moore, a well known farmer and rancher, was converted early in life, and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, the former Miss Vergie Jones, a son, O.J. Moore, Rt. 1, Sidney; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Oxford of Lubbock and Mrs. Vada Heeley of Heiber Springs, Ark.; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
